Handle Your Business

When I read Robert Kiyosaki’s “Rich Dad, Poor Dad,” my mind was opened to the fact that I have been trained to be a 9-5 worker. While I don’t knock that, as living in a 9-5 world has kept food on the table, a roof over my head and clothes on my son’s and my back, there is something to be said about expanding your mind…or even shifting your mind…to start thinking like an entrepreneur. It doesn’t mean you have to quit your job to start a business. You can apply an entrepreneur’s mind to your 9-5. As I continue to evolve on my journey, I am in the midst of my own shift. It’s not always comfortable, but it’s work that has to be done. In the meantime, for those who are entrepreneurs, or are on their way to becoming one, I wanted to share this article that Tory Burch posted on Twitter from Entrepreneur.com. Thought it provided some helpful tips on things to consider when launching your own business: http://www.entrepreneur.com/blog/222831
